- Shared Home Communion next week
Christ the King Sunday is coming up next Sunday, 11/22. We are going to celebrate with Shared Home Communion. This will involve consecrating Communion wafers in advance, and distributing them to you by drive-through pick-up and/or home delivery. Pickup will be available in front of the church on Saturday, November 21 from 10am to noon. Then, we’ll all consume our consecrated wafers at the same time during a live-streamed Holy Eucharist on Sunday at 10am. Consider preparing a sacred place in your home where you can keep your consecrated bread, the Body of Christ, in reverence between the time you pick it up and the Sunday morning shared home Communion service on Zoom. A cloth underlay, a candle, and flowers are all good ideas. If you are willing to share a photo of your altar, we’d love to see it! - Pledge Card Drop-off
In addition to handing out consecrated bread on Saturday, November 21st from 10am to noon, we will also be collecting pledge cards which will be blessed in the live zoom service on Sunday. You are also welcome to mail your pledge card to the church. If you haven’t received your pledge card, or if you have questions about pledges, please contact the church.
