Services and Church Gatherings
In accordance with direction from Yolo County and our Bishop, we will continue to suspend services and gatherings at the church at this time. However, just because we cannot gather physically, does not mean that we cannot gather.

Digital Services
Please join us for digital audio services every Sunday. Our services are archived on our website so you can tune in whenever you like. And watch our sermons page for the next service to post this Sunday. If you know of someone in the congregation who does not have access to a computer, please contact the church office and let us know. We can mail out a CD or a printed version of the service so we can all worship together. Are you interested in reading a portion of next week’s service? If you have the tech capabilities to record an audio file and send it over email contact Shannon and she’ll put you on the roster: Would you like to put your name or a loved ones on the list for prayers for Prayers of the People? Please contact Debbie at

Send an email to Mairic James: You will receive an email in return inviting you to join the virtual gathering. You can Zoom with a smart phone, an iPad/tablet, or a computer with a camera. Click on the link in the email and we’ll see you! It’s that simple. And it’s so important for us to remain connected, to keep in touch as best we can, and know how everyone is fairing. Together, we will lift our spirits, constructively vent/lament, offer assistance when needed… If you have any hesitation at all about using Zoom, please call, text or email Mairic James (617-435-6597) or Tom Eaton (530-681-0328): We can’t wait to hear from you – and see you – your presence is a gift to all!

New Contact for Intercessory Prayer Request
Dear church family, although I am so grateful for the opportunity you have given me to be the contact for our very dedicated prayer team, my heart and time is focusing more on my husband’s need for care. Scott Campbell has volunteered to assume the role of communications contact for St. Luke’s intercessory prayer ministry. The timing has felt like a God sent. As you read Scott’s short bio that he sent to me and get to know Scott and Kathy, his wife, you will feel as I do, that they will enrich our community. -Sue Ahlquist

Scott and his new wife Kathy have been attending St. Luke’s since moving to Woodland from Redding in October. Scott was previously involved in the leadership of two churches in Illinois, one of which had an active experimental ministry that combined prayer, intercession, and worship, and he continues to have a heart for these things. At the other he served as staff pastoral counselor and counseling center director. Kathy is an RN with a love for hospice and palliative care nursing.

Scott is looking forward to serving as a part of this important ministry in its care of our congregation, and to the positive reports of God’s love being poured out upon His people. Scott can be contacted by phone at (815) 742-5562 or by e-mail at
